Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Canada singer/songwriter Forest Blakk has signed a worldwide deal with the legendary Atlantic Records Group in partnership with Sire Records and Warner Music Group. Influenced by artists such as Joe Cocker, Don Henley, Dustin Kensrue, Alex Clare, Ben Howard and The Neighbourhood, to mention a few, Forest Blakk's rhythmic pop-infused songs of foot-stomping sing-alongs and emotional rollercoasters are sure to strike a chord with anyone who hears them

MANITOBA FILM AND MUSIC
Stephen Carroll is the Music Programs manager for Manitoba Film and Music. Stephen achieved international recognition as a member of the JUNO-nominated band The Weakerthans (Epitaph/Anti Records). After joining the group in 1998, he managed all of the business affairs and helped steer the group to fame. In 2009 he began managing the Manitoba band Imaginary Cities and went on to form Empirical Artist Services Inc. Most recently, he served as the General Manager of the West End Cultural Centre. Stephen was awarded Manager of the Year at the Western Canadian Music Awards in 2013, after garnering nominations for the award the two previous years. He is also active in the local and national arts community as a volunteer, mentor for artists, jury member and consultant for civic policy initiatives. Stephen was a member of the Board of Directors for FACTOR and currently serves on the Board of Manitoba Music.
Vanessa develops customized social marketing plans for all Coalition Music artists and programs across multiple online platforms. With 10+ years of experience in the music business, Vanessa built her career as a stage manager for North By Northeast Music Festival and has worked in Branding, Social Media, and CRM for various corporate entities. Also an entrepreneur, Vanessa co-founded both Big Things Productions and People Put Out Productions.
Andrew is a professional producer who has overseen countless projects during his decade at the helm of Precursor. His philosophy as a producer is simple: understand each artist's creative vision for their music and make it a reality in the studio. As an engineer he is known for extremely high production values and the unique ability to create a signature sound for each artist.

Morgan “MJ” James had the privilege of hosting the “Rise Up Show” on Rhythm 104.7 fm from 2014-2016.
MJ has a passion for sharing her love and appreciation for all genres of music and strives to share her message of love, peace and inclusion. MJ is an active member of the community hosting events and encouraging the growth of artists here in Winnipeg. MJ continues her own growth in the local broadcast community with the launch of 204 The Vibe, Winnipeg’s NEW Hip-Hop, RnB, and Soul station. It is through this medium that MJ shares her passion and vision of a world filled with hope and love for all.
Gifted with a name that carries a touch of destiny, Canadian rapper/vocalist/ producer Haviah Mighty has captured the imagination of vast audiences through her powerful live and viral online performances. She is rapidly becoming one of the most thought-provoking, viscerally entertaining and magnificently magnetic rap artists in Canada.
Ashley Au is a Winnipeg-based bassist, composer, arranger, and educator. A multifaceted musician, Ashley specializes in the upright and electric basses (4-string, 5-string, and fretless) as well as guitar, and is a much sought after sessional musician and music educator. After completing a degree in Jazz Bass Performace (B. Mus) at Brandon University, under the direction of Michael Cain, Greg Gatien, Eric Platz, and Gilles Fournier, Ashley has become an active member of Winnipeg’s music scene.
BLACK SPACE WINNIPEG
Alexa Joy Potashnik is the Founder of Black Space Winnipeg, Host of Raw Colours on CKUW 95.9FM, local vocal percussionist known as MC Woke and the former Racialised Student Commissioner with the Canadian Federation of Students - MB. Alexa's work involves creating safe spaces for people of colour while challenging white/male privilege, dominance and supremacy through grassroots activism. Alexa continues to push against the status-quo by ensuring there are always platforms for the abjected voices in society. This year Alexa was the emcee for the Women's March On Washington - Winnipeg, an event that drew over 3,000 Winnipegers to the heart of downtown, demonstrating solidarity for social justice. She was involved and introduced Dr. Angela Davis when she was in Winnipeg and has been featured on projects with CBC. Completing her final year at the University of Winnipeg, Alexa plans to attend grad school to further her interest and passion in critical race theory and connect her community work with her music.
Actor, symphony cellist and powerful RnB singer. Tessa deﬁnitely knows how to multitask. She has performed in countless musicals, played cello in the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra and along with backing up other artists with her versatile vocals (Marianas Trench 2013 tour, Tafari Anthony) she has been working to create her own serene, pulsing alternative RnB. She is currently signed to Akashic Rekords/ILS Group/Universal Music Canada.
A veteran of the music industry, Hellnback first gained international recognition as a founding member of the groundbreaking group War Party. Moving from his native Alberta to Winnipeg, Manitoba in the early 2000’s, Hellnback co-founded the popular and respected rap crew War Party and was the main stable member with the group Team Rezofficial. Recently featured on a Tribe Called Red’s latest offering, the Suplex EP, Hellnback has finally stepped into his own and released his first solo project - #FOE (Family Over Everything) – and he proves himself to be back with a vengeance.
Lisa Muswagon is a Nakoda Cree member of the Pimicikamak Cree Nation. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Lisa is an entrepreneur, promotor, facilitator and artist who recently released the album Buffalo and Rabbits which is a contemporary hand drum album. Her late grandfather was a story teller and felt that it was important to carry on his legacy, storytelling through Indigenous harmonized vocals and the drum. The album earned a 2017 Indigenous Music Award nomination for Best New Artists. She is currently exploring music as an artists sharing Indigenous sound through different mediums and genres of music with future collaboration.
